NASL Pledges To Have 6 Teams By 2050

INDIANAPOLIS- League officials of the North American Soccer League met in Indy yesterday to discuss the audacious plans for the future. The officials boldly pledged expansion to 6 teams by the year 2050 which would put them on track to having 10 by the turn of the century.

More teams means more revenue and in this case, tens of dollars. The San Francisco Deltas happily announced via Twitter yesterday, "Only in the hole a few million bucks! Long term strategy! #SquadGoals."

Other Notes: Six teams will battle for four playoff spots at the end of the year. The two teams that don't make the playoff will not get their paychecks for the months of November and December.
