Both Teams Pray For Victory, Game Ends In Draw

WISCONSIN- In a bizarre twist of fate, two local high school teams found themselves at a deadlock after 90 minutes of soccer and 60 minutes of pregame prayer. Both teams claim to have prayed to the Almighty collectively and individually for success on the field, limited injuries and of course, victory.

Oddly enough, the game ended in a 0-0 stalemate while five players went down, with what appears to be, season-ending injuries. Needless to say, the two squads left the pitch absolutely baffled whilst the 17 fans in attendance booed the lackluster performance.

Referee, John Stertzer remarked, "God works in mysterious, balanced ways. I prayed for a tie."
